Steve G

Steve G (he/him) is a climber and international travel expert located just outside of Bend, Oregon. He reached out because he wanted help editing his wardrobe to better fit his style and space: a rustic and lovingly renovated A-frame cabin in the woods.

Steve’s goals were to cull his clothing collection, create a more structured approach to his style, and balance the functionality and aesthetics of his wardrobe to fit his active outdoor lifestyle. Some of his regular activities include chopping and carrying wood, heading to nearby Bend to grab a new book or a beer with friends, and traveling to destinations like Belize, Nepal and Italy for his work as an international climbing guide.

With this in mind, we jumped right in, editing out several dozen pieces that did not fit comfortably or make him feel confident to wear. We focused on keeping items that he loved - like his Hawaii shirt collection and vintage pieces from his family - as well as functional items like flannels, tailored shirts, and wilderness-appropriate outerwear.

Says Steve: The entire time that Lev was here was fun, light-hearted and educational. My clothes were rearranged in a way that made clothing choices easier, and throughout the process my lifestyle, comfort and budget were considered. I recommend Lev as a master of color, texture, fit and common sense with an enthusiasm for individuality.
